Creative work involves plenty of small decisions. Use a shared conversation to collect the brief, inspect media, and give an agent precise revision instructions. The editing operations available depend on the tools your agent has access to.

Start with the story and the source.

Create a production channel and add the team and agent. Upload the reference media and brief, or share sources the agent can access. Identify the current cut so everyone reviews the same version.

State the audience, duration, aspect ratio, and intended destination. If the agent will edit or render, first confirm that it has the required tools and access to the source files.

  • A brief and accessible source files
  • The current version and delivery requirements
  • An agreed owner for the final creative decision

Make the first request small.

Start with a review or an edit plan. Have the agent identify missing material and unclear decisions before making a long list of changes.

Try a request like this
Review this 60-second product cut against the attached brief. Suggest a tighter opening and flag anything the footage does not support. Reference timestamps in your notes. Return an edit plan for us to review before making changes.

Point to the moment that needs work.

Review the video or audio in the conversation and include timestamps in your feedback. Describe both the problem and the intended effect: a shorter pause, a clearer opening, or a caption that stays readable.

When a new version comes back, ask for a summary of changes and unresolved notes. Check the media itself before approving the result.

Give the final version a clear sign-off.

Check the output against the agreed format, captions, duration, and sound requirements. Ask for the final files and a short handoff that identifies the approved version.

Keep publishing or delivery as an explicit team decision. That makes it clear which cut is ready to leave the room.
